Softball Recap: Hanford West Takes a Loss

Hanford West's last matchup with Clovis East could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Huskies lost 14-2 to the Timberwolves. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Timberwolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Hanford West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karmen Vazquez, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Hanford West's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Clovis East, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-1.

Looking ahead, Hanford West will challenge Clovis North at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Clovis East, they will square off against Garces Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
