Basketball Recap: Liberty Tech Magnet Takes a Loss

Liberty Tech Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Lexington Tigers 67-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered against the Tigers since November 20, 2021.

Liberty Tech Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lexington, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Tech Magnet will face off against Bolivar Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lexington Tigers face off against the Scotts Hill Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington is facing Scotts Hill at the right time seeing as Scotts Hill is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
