Baseball Recap: Nemaha Central Takes a Loss

Nemaha Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rossville Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-6 on Thursday.

Nemaha Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Rossville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nemaha Central will face off against rival Hiawatha at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rossville is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Marys on Monday.
