West is 9-1 against McGregor since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will host the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, West came up short against Troy and fell 3-1. West has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, McGregor got the win against Harmony Science Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McGregor took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-10.

West now has a losing record of 15-16. As for McGregor, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

Everything went West's way against McGregor when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as West made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
