Centralia has gone 9-1 against Marion recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Orphans will challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Centralia has three straight wins, Marion has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Centralia was able to grind out a solid victory over Cahokia, taking the game 2-0.

Meanwhile, Marion came up short against Carbondale on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Marion now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Centralia, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Centralia was able to grind out a solid victory over Marion in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Orphans repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
