Jennings has gone 10-0 against Welsh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The two teams will meet in a canine-themed contest at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-25, which was the final score in Jennings' tilt against Sulphur on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Golden Tors are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Welsh took a blow against Kinder on Friday, falling 57-20. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Welsh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jennings, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Jennings didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Welsh in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win. Will Jennings repeat their success, or does Welsh have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
