Volleyball Recap: Lambert Comes Up Short

Lambert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Etowah Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20.

Lambert's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Etowah, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Lambert will take on Lassiter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Etowah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
