Albemarle School has gone 9-1 against Ridgecroft recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Colts will face off against the Rams at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Albemarle School took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over The Oakwood School. The victory was some much needed relief for the Colts as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Albemarle School took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9, 25-15.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Ridgecroft sidestepped Southampton for a 3-2 win.

Ridgecroft was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (101-98), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 15-4.

Albemarle School's record is now 7-10. As for Ridgecroft, their record now sits at 13-5.

Albemarle School came up short against Ridgecroft when the teams last played on September 9th, falling 3-1. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
