Baseball Game Preview: Trabuco Hills Mustangs vs. Aliso Niguel Wolverines

For the second straight game, Trabuco Hills will face off against Aliso Niguel. Trabuco Hills will host Aliso Niguel at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Trabuco Hills 1.4, Aliso Niguel 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Wednesday, Trabuco Hills was able to grind out a solid win over Aliso Niguel, taking the game 4-1.

Mikey Gray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Evan Hall, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Ryan Luce was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Trabuco Hills' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Aliso Niguel, they moved to 11-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
