Volleyball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Timberwolves vs. Marshall Bobcats

Cedar Ridge hasn't had much luck against Marshall recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will square off against the Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cedar Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They put the hurt on Midland with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Marshall took on Izard County on Thursday. The Bobcats won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since September 16th.

Cedar Ridge's record is now 11-6. As for Marshall, their record now sits at 10-5.

Cedar Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Marshall when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
