It was a good run, but Barron unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Maple Grove Crimson.

Alexis Halverson paced Barron's offense, picking up six kills. Halverson got some help from Lillian Harmon and her 11 assists. Finally, Halverson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Barron's defeat dropped their record down to 28-4. As for Maple Grove, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3.

Barron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against River Falls on the 11th. As for Maple Grove, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Delano on the 11th.
