Basketball Recap: Savannah Country Day Comes Up Short

Savannah Country Day has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Savannah Christian Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-39 back in January.

Savannah Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Savannah Christian, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Savannah Country Day is taking a road trip to face off against Vidalia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Savannah Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Toombs County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
