Gage Walling was the driving force of Piqua's attack as he scored both of Piqua's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.
Butler's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Piqua, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything went Butler's way against Piqua when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as Butler made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Butler since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
