Softball Recap: Maryvale Takes a Loss

Maryvale fell victim to Iroquois and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Redhawks, falling 15-0. The Flyers have struggled against the Redhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Maryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Iroquois, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Maryvale will be playing in front of their home fans against Kenmore East at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Iroquois, they will head out to square off against Lackawanna at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Redhawks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
