The Mountain View Toros will head out on the road to face off against the Highland Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain View, who comes in off a win.

Mountain View took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They breezed past Desert Ridge to the tune of 70-0. That 70 point margin sets a new team best for the Toros this season.

Coy Bodily went supernova, rushing for 59 yards and two scores. Talan Arnett was in the mix too, providing Mountain View with two TDs.

Meanwhile, Highland faced Red Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Hawks fell 24-17 to the Mountain Lions. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Even if they lost, Highland's defense still kept up the pressure with 4.5 sacks. Dominic Kaut refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Tu Pauga was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Highland now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
