Soccer Game Preview: Crockett vs. Hudson

The Crockett Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Hudson Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Crockett took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Trinity get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Hudson got the win against Trinity on Friday by a conclusive 5-0. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Hudson's win bumped their record up to 11-6-2. As for Crockett, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8-1.

Crockett beat Hudson by a goal in their previous meeting back in February, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crockett since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
