Volleyball Recap: Creekview Wins Going Away Against the Colony

Creekview hadn't done well against The Colony recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Mustangs blew past the Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: The Colony scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Priyanka Thomas was the offensive standout of the match as she had three digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up 14 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Ilania Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Creekview was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Creekview's record is now 11-25. As for The Colony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-26 record this season.
