Basketball Recap: Sacopee Valley Comes Up Short

Sacopee Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boothbay Seahawks. The Hawks lost against the Seahawks in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-36 score last time.

Sacopee Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boothbay, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Sacopee Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Traip at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boothbay will take on Hall-Dale in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
