Soccer Recap: Marist Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Marist was not quite Carmel's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Corsairs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Marist have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Marist and nudges their season record down to 7-6-2. As for Carmel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6-2.

Marist wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Plainfield East on the 27th. As for Carmel, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Nazareth Academy on the 28th.
