Baseball Recap: Colbert County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Phil Campbell last Monday, Colbert County came back down to earth. The Colbert County Indians fell 7-3 to the Phil Campbell Bobcats on Tuesday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 13-3.

Colbert County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. Phil Campbell has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

While Colbert County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
