Baseball Recap: Pasadena Has No Trouble Against Hoover

While Pasadena put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Hoover. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Tornados with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tornados recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Kaleb Derosier, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Pasadena: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-12-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Derosier, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Pasadena's record now sits at 6-12-1. As for Hoover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Pasadena will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Glendale at 2:30 p.m. As for Hoover, they will head out on the road to face off against Oak Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
