Basketball Recap: Waldorf Takes a Loss

Waldorf was the 50-42 winner over Christian Heritage Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Waldorf Thunder took a hard 53-39 fall against the Christian Heritage Academy Lions on Monday. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carson Acres continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Christian Heritage Academy, going 9 for 16 on his way to 25 points and six boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which Acres has scored at least a third of Christian Heritage Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Azaria Mihulet, who posted nine points.

Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Christian Heritage Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Waldorf has already played their next contest, a 70-39 loss against Morgan Park Academy on the 15th. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-31 defeat against Wolcott College Prep on the 15th.
