Football Recap: Lakes Starts Season with Loss at Home

Lakes unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 21-13 to the Glenbrook North Spartans on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Looking ahead, Lakes will head out on the road to face off against Vernon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenbrook North, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Grant Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
