Football Recap: Covington Comes Up Short

Covington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Graham Local Falcons, falling 49-8. The Buccs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Graham Local, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Covington will head out on the road to challenge Miami East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Buccs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Graham Local, they will face off against Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
