Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Presidents vs. Red Hook Raiders        
        
		
             Roosevelt had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Hook Raiders , sneaking past  3-2. This was payback for the Presidents, who suffered  a  3-1  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Roosevelt who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 27-25, 27-29,  15-11.
  Abbey Greenspan was a one-man wrecking crew for Roosevelt as she  had 30  digs and two  aces. Greenspan is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in the last six games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Roosevelt's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Red Hook, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 3-1.
 Roosevelt will challenge Monroe-Woodbury at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Red Hook, they will head out to  face off against Marlboro Central  at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
