Football Recap: Chisum Starts Season with Victory Against Hughes Springs

Chisum had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Hughes Springs on Friday as they made off with a 39-14 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chisum also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Coming up, Chisum will host Tom Bean at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hughes Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Ore City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
