Baseball Game Preview: Harrison Hornets vs. Shepherd Bluejays

Harrison hasn't had much luck against Shepherd recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hornets will face off against the Bluejays at 4:00 p.m. Harrison has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Harrison lost 12-2 to Clare on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Gladwin hit Shepherd with a five-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bluejays came up short against the Flying G's, falling 12-2.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Shepherd, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6-1.

Harrison suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Shepherd when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
