Volleyball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Dora suffered their biggest defeat since October 14, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Cabool Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-4.

Cabool can attribute much of their success to Cambree Woodard, who had five digs and two aces. What's more, Woodard posted three kills, the most she's had over her last seven contests.

Dora's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Cabool, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Dora will head out to challenge Bakersfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cabool, they will venture away from home to square off against Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
