After flying high against Basic last Friday, Faith Lutheran came back down to earth. The Crusaders took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coronado Cougars on Friday. The contest marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dominick Folino threw for 98 yards on eight of 13 attempts. Gavin Folino was his top target, picking up 64 receiving yards. On the ground, Dominic Aguilar rushed for 28 yards and one touchdown.

The critical scores for Coronado came from Jake Carsrud and Jackson Humphries.

Faith Lutheran has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Coronado, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Faith Lutheran has already played their next game, a 30-24 win against Foothill on the 24th. As for Coronado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-21 defeat against Liberty on the 24th.
