Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Owatonna

Owatonna won the last time they faced Austin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huskies came out on top against the Packers by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Austin still got an impressive performance from Addison Walsh, who had 36 digs. Walsh has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more digs the last nine times she's played. Lexi Brede was another key player, getting 15 digs.

Owatonna's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. As for Austin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Owatonna will head out to challenge Northfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Park Center on the 11th.
