Soccer Recap: Evangelical Christian Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Evangelical Christian walked away with it. They had just enough and edged the Bradenton Christian Panthers out 2-1 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Sentinels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Taylor Foss and Madisyn Litwak scored both of Evangelical Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 47 goals.

Evangelical Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Bradenton Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Evangelical Christian will face off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Rocks Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 19 goals over their last three games. Bradenton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
