Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cleveland + How To Watch

Cleveland waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ayden - Grifton Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since September 7, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (111-106) Cleveland actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-25, 18-16.

Cleveland had a senior duo take command as Addison Evans had 12 digs, six kills, and three aces and Olivia Weaver had 34 digs and three aces. Evans is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last 34 games she's played dating back to last season. Olivia Hunt was another key player, getting 14 kills and three digs.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ayden - Grifton, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will square off against Seaforth at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ayden - Grifton, they will challenge J.H. Rose at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
