Basketball Recap: Bedford North Lawrence Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Bedford North Lawrence was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were beaten by the Brownsburg Bulldogs 68-21. The game marked the Stars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elle Mcculloch was her usual excellent self, going 5 of 7 en route to 14 points and four steals for Brownsburg. That's the most steals Mcculloch has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Avery Gordon, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Bedford North Lawrence dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Brownsburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Bedford North Lawrence will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Fort Wayne Northrop at 2:30 p.m. As for Brownsburg, they will head out to square off against Avon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
