Volleyball Recap: Zoe Woodward and Ruby Mcdermott Secure Win for Blessed Trinity + How To Watch

The Blessed Trinity Titans earned a 2-0 win over the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Blessed Trinity easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19.

Blessed Trinity was led to victory by Ruby McDermott and Zoe Woodward. McDermott had ten digs and two aces, while Woodward had four aces and three digs. What's more, McDermott racked up six assists, the most she's had over her last six games.

They weren't the only good server: Blessed Trinity was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Anne-Pacelli only served two aces.

Blessed Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-4.

Coincidentally, Blessed Trinity and St. Anne-Pacelli will both be playing Fellowship Christian the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Paladins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
