Recap: Superior Bobcats vs. Lincoln County Lions
The Superior Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. The game between Superior and Lincoln County wasn't particularly close, with Superior falling 69-54.
Braden Casazza was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds for Lincoln County. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Butts, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lincoln County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Superior will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Ignatius at 5:30 p.m. on January 19, 2024. Lincoln County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Stillwater Christian at 8:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Stillwater Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
