Academy of International Studies came tearing into Monday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Weaver Beavers 3-0. The Dragons were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Beavers, so the Dragons were just returning the favor.

Academy of International Studies never let Weaver on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-18.

Leading Academy of International Studies to victory were Natalee Pabe and Lisa Weinberg. Pabe had 18 digs and seven aces, while Weinberg had eight digs and three aces. Weinberg is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Academy of International Studies was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Academy of International Studies' victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Weaver, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
