McDonogh extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Carlos Ferguson. The McDonogh Eagles walked away with a 67-57 win over the Calvert Hall Cardinals on Friday thanks in part to Ferguson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Moore, who posted ten points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

McDonogh is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Calvert Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

McDonogh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-43 victory against Episcopal on the 21st. As for Calvert Hall, they will venture away from home to square off against Elmira at 8:30 p.m. on December 28th. One thing working in Elmira's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
