Basketball Recap: Bayside Academy Starts Season with Win at Home

Bayside Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Shelby County Wildcats 49-47. The Admirals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

This is the second loss in a row for Shelby County and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Bayside Academy will head out on the road to face off against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shelby County, they will welcome Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
