There's no place like home for Leesville Road, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-13 win over the Enloe Eagles. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pride needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Leesville Road's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damacio Cueto, who threw for 248 yards and three TDs while completing 92.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Cueto a new career-high in passer rating (171.1). Akshar Barnes was in the mix as well, providing Leesville Road with two scores.

Leesville Road didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jhazyir Thompson and Nolan Hobbs.

Despite the defeat, Enloe had strong showings from Chase White, who gained 149 total yards and two touchdowns, and O'Sean Johnson, who rushed for 159 yards while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Leesville Road pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games. As for Enloe, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.
