Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

If Glenn was riding high fresh off their 51-20 takedown of Bridgeport last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenn Bobcats took a blow against the Frankenmuth Eagles on Wednesday, falling 66-35. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 63-20 defeat back in January.

Clare Conzelmann was her usual excellent self, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 29 points and four steals for Frankenmuth. Thanks to that strong game, Conzelmann now owns an excellent 45.3% field goal percentage. Izzy Bernthal was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Frankenmuth, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frankenmuth, they will take on Garber in a tournament on Friday. Frankenmuth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season.
