Basketball Recap: Lone Peak Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lone Peak had won two straight games and Kennedy Woolston did her part to make it three on Friday. The Lone Peak Knights took down the American Fork Cavemen 59-41 thanks to Woolston, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. What's more, she also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Zuri Nordstrom, who posted eight points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for American Fork, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Lone Peak has already played their next contest, a 55-42 victory against Lehi on the 11th. American Fork has also already played their next game (against Westlake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
