Volleyball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sheldon couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the South Salem Saxons by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Irish haven't had much luck with the Saxons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ellenia Setzer had an outrageously good game for South Salem as she had 24 digs and one assist. Those 24 digs gave Setzer a new career-high. Leah Ioane was another key player, getting nine digs.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 27-6. As for South Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Sheldon nor South Salem have any future games scheduled.
