Mangum came tearing into Monday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hammon Warriors a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Mangum pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hammon, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Mangum will face off against Fort Cobb-Broxton at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hammon, they will take on Navajo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.4, the Indians 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
