Basketball Game Preview: King's Christian Knights vs. Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves

The King's Christian Knights will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in King's Christian's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Foundation Collegiate Academy has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Foundation Collegiate Academy better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when King's Christian really get things going. Everything went King's Christian's way against Collingswood on Thursday as King's Christian made off with a 66-44 win.

King's Christian relied on the efforts of Cam Homer, who posted 28 points, and Owen Atkins, who put up 22 points. With that strong performance, Homer is now averaging an impressive 17.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Brayden Pickard, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Foundation Collegiate Academy ended up a good deal behind Kohelet Yeshiva on Tuesday and lost 58-40.

The victory got King's Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

King's Christian might still be hurting after the 62-40 loss they got from Foundation Collegiate Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. Can King's Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
