Basketball Game Preview: Crowley Eagles vs. Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy Eagles

Crowley will challenge Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Crowley was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 77-76 to Kennedale. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (67), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Despite their defeat, Crowley saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jaelon Germany, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 19 points along with five assists and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Willis, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 21 points.

Meanwhile, Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy earned a 67-57 victory over Parish Episcopal on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Crowley and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
