Softball Recap: Mcqueen Falls Short Against Ranked Bishop Manogue

McQueen faced Bishop Manogue in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lancers lost 7-1 to the Miners. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

McQueen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Montana Huitt, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

McQueen's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bishop Manogue, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McQueen beat the Miners by a score of 4-3 later that day.
