Negaunee put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Gladstone Braves 45-28. That's more bragging rights for the Miners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Gladstone lost, don't look at Lillie Johnson. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. That was a full 46.4% of Gladstone's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Negaunee's win was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Gladstone, they moved to 11-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Negaunee and Gladstone will both be playing Calumet the next time they take the court. Gladstone will head out to face Calumet at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while Negaunee will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
