What a day for the Clemson Tigers.

Dabo Swinney and the defending national champions got the day started with a commitment from No. 9 overall prospect Jackson Carman of Fairfield (Ohio), a 6-foot-6, 330-pound offensive tackle.

Things got even better a few hours later with the addition of KJ Henry, a 6-6, 235-pound defensive end from West Forsyth (Clemmons, N.C.).

Henry is pegged as the No. 8 overall prospect in the Class of 2018 by 247Sports.

Henry chose the Tigers over Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia Tech among others. He made an official visit to Clemson in October.

Also a standout basketball player, Henry averaged over 15 points per game as a junior.

In addition to Carman and Henry, Clemson also has commitments from Top 10 prospects in quarterback Trevor Lawrence of Cartersville (Ga.) and defensive end Xavier Thomas of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.).
