Basketball Recap: Pennsauken Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

After losing to Cinnaminson the last time they met, Pennsauken decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pennsauken Indians came out on top against the Cinnaminson Pirates by a score of 60-53 on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Pirates are ranked 30th).

Pennsauken is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for Cinnaminson, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Pennsauken wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-51 win against Palmyra on the 23rd. As for Cinnaminson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-40 victory against Pemberton on the 23rd.
