Basketball Recap: Caleb Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Peachtree Academy over Trinity Prep

It was a proper cat-fight when Peachtree Academy took on Trinity Prep on Thursday. The Peachtree Academy Panthers fell 60-53 to the Trinity Prep Lions. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Jackson, who posted 24 points. Jackson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Abraham, who put up 14 points.

It was another big night for Beau Blocker, who went 11 for 16 on his way to 30 points and seven boards for Trinity Prep. Another player making a difference was David Kedar, who went 5 of 9 en route to 14 points.

Peachtree Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Trinity Prep, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Peachtree Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-41 victory against Faith Christian Academy on the 17th. Trinity Prep has also already played their next contest, an 81-51 defeat against Victory Baptist on the 17th.
